Set the Community Density Score threshold that a zip code must reach to unlock local sponsor discounts.
Milestone Discounts: OFF
The discount banner is hidden from all walkers. Turn it on once you have sponsor agreements in place.
Milestone Threshold
Current threshold: — steps per 1,000 residents
How the score works: Community Density Score = (total steps ÷ zip population) × 1,000. A threshold of 500 means a zip needs 500 steps logged per 1,000 residents to qualify. Smaller zip codes reach this faster than large ones — that's by design.

No zip codes have crossed the threshold yet.
How to Inform Retail Sponsors
When you sign up a retail sponsor in a specific zip code, tell them:
- The current milestone threshold is — Community Density Score points (steps per 1,000 residents).
- Once their zip code crosses that score, walkers in that zip will automatically see a "Discounts Unlocked" banner on the leaderboard and on their personal walker profile.
- Walkers will be instructed to show the banner screen to the sponsor to redeem their discount.
- The sponsor sets their own discount terms (percentage off, specific items, etc.) and communicates those directly to walkers.
To adjust the threshold for all sponsors at once, update the value above and click Save. The change takes effect immediately — no republish required.
